In my collection, I addressed today's problems such as the consumption frenzy, inspired by the dadaism that was active at the beginning of the 20th century, the literary and art movement, and influenced by its critical thinking. I wanted to create a more bold, energetic and vibrant collection. With this project, I focused on looking for a new sense of life for old pieces of clothing by working upcycle. In didaism, there is despair and rebellion of a generation that has lost its direction of consciousness. In other words, I have integrated it with such a logic because there is so much unconscious consumption madness similar to Gen Z today. I took the object and transformed it superficially, I added my criticisms and messages to my design as embroidery. As GenZ is more independent and free, I want to create a collection using eco-friendly products and embroidery to successfully reflect GenZ's vibrant lifestyle and culture. Since it coincided with the Covıd -19 period in our designs, the importance of handcrafted things increased by staying at home and I wanted to move forward with more craftivisim in my designs. I tried to give new life to the products we have. In my first design, I designed a vest-style bustier from my old stained denim jacket from jeans that were worn out at the knee area, I cut a one-piece shirt into two, created 2 pieces of product and used it on the skirt.
